ICT News Desk: Avian Influenza Update

Public health officials in China and in the United States continue to monitor as many as 50 cases of  human infection with a novel avian influenza A (H7N9) virus from four different provinces in China. All patients were hospitalized with severe respiratory illness, and 11 persons have died. (Note: Number of cases/deaths are as of April 16, 2013.)
