An article, "New recall of alcohol wipes raises larger questions: Dump non-sterile products?" appeared this morning on MSNBC and caught my attention. Did you see it? The article states there is a debate brewing about the use of non-sterile pads and wipes and their use in hospitals due to their potential risk of infection. The massive FDA recall of Triad and H&P product earlier this year seems to have raised red flags on all non-sterile prep products. Some facilities are switching to all sterile products, some are waiting for more evidence. What is your facility's stance on this issue?
