Even Santa Claus Wants the Flu Vaccine

You know swine flu has reached the final frontier when even Santa Claus is clamoring for the vaccine! Associated Press writer Holly Ramer is reporting that the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas is encouraging its members to take infection control precautions and has even sponsored a seminar on H1N1 influenza prevention at its recent conference. The rationale for making store Santas part of the high-priority group to receive the H1N1 flu vaccine is that they come into contact with the sniffling, sneezing, snot-nosed little tykes sitting on their laps while reciting their Christmas gift lists.
