Associated Press writer Holly Ramer is reporting that the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas is encouraging its members to take infection control precautions and has even sponsored a seminar on H1N1 influenza prevention at its recent conference. The rationale for making store Santas part of the high-priority group to receive the H1N1 flu vaccine is that they come into contact with the sniffling, sneezing, snot-nosed little tykes sitting on their laps while reciting their Christmas gift lists.
