It's the morning after the fourth annual virtual ICT Conference on Professional Development, which was held Feb. 9-10, and I am so very gratified by the way the infection prevention and control community embraced this event. More than 5,000 registered attendees proves that online events -- which bring learning and networking to the practioner without incurring the cost and inconvenience of travel -- are what this industry needs! A huge thank you to all of you who carved out precious time to be with us all day, both days -- your dedication was greatly appreciated. I also wish to thank our platinum sponsor, 3M, and all of our wonderful exhibitors, for making this event possible -- you are the engine in our machine in so many ways. And kudos to our fabulous speakers -- you answered my call for participation with such enthusiasm and passion, and helped us make an educational event that people are raving about!
