Show Your CS and Sterile Processing Pride

National Healthcare Central Service & Sterile Processing Week is slated for Oct. 9-15, 2011 and ICT wants to help you show your professional pride by assembling a special tribute.

This commemorative week is a great opportunity to recognize the committed specialists that fill CS and SP departments and make a difference in patient care by providing properly cleaned, decontaminated and sterilized instruments to surgical services, and so much more.

For this tribute, share with us, in 100 words or less, what gives you the most pride about working in the CS/SP department, or, if you are an infection preventionist, tell us what you respect about the CS/SP department personnel at your facility.

Please include with your submission your name, title, employer, city/state, and a digital photo of yourself if possible. Send your submission to me at kpyrek@vpico.com/. The deadline to participate is Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.
