Each 30-minute session explores how cutting-edge technology of today's disinfection and decontamination products helps practitioners obtain better patient outcomes through improved formulations and processes designed to control and eradicate disease-causing pathogens. Digital Summit participants will have an opportunity to interact with the presenters by asking questions and engaging in dialogue with the speakers as well as other event attendees.

Nicole has 20 years of experience as a technical consultant, educator, trainer and author working in the field of environmental science, environmental hygiene and chemical disinfection for infection prevention. Nicole is the Senior Director of Professional & Technical Services at Virox Technologies Inc., a company with a patented technology in cleaning, disinfection and sterilization for hands, surfaces and devices where she is responsible for Infection Prevention Education relating to chemical disinfection, Technical Support and Clinical Studies. Nicole has authored numerous infection prevention related articles for trade magazines and has co-authored two peer reviewed articles and has 2 peer review articles pending publication. Nicole has developed, training programs on Basic Microbiology, Infection Prevention and Control and Occupational Health for several of Virox's strategic partners as well as educated thousands of people across North America on chemical disinfection and the role the environment plays in infection transmission in both healthcare and non-healthcare markets. She also works closely with Virox's strategic partner, Sealed Air to identify and address customer’s infection prevention challenges. Nicole is an active member on several education and guideline development committees including the CSA Decontamination Subcommittee responsible for developing the new edition for CSA Z314.8 – Decontamination of Reusable Medical Devices, Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) Education and Knowledge Management Committee as well as AHE's Industry Advisory Committee. Most recently Nicole was named one of ICT'S 2014 Who's Who In The Infection Prevention Industry.
Nicole and her colleagues maintain a blog called "Talk Clean To Me" to discuss the use of disinfectants on surfaces, devices and hands and their effective use for infection prevention.
