AHE Presents Phoenix Award to James Roussos

Today the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE), formerly known as American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES), of the American Hospital Association (AHA), presented the Phoenix Award, AHEs highest honor, to James Roussos, CHESP. Roussos is program manager for the Southeast Regional Medical Command in Ft Gordon, Ga.

The Phoenix Award is presented annually to an individual that has selflessly served in multiple leadership roles, sacrificed personal and family time to complete the work of AHE, and often gave personal resources to the advancement of the organization and the profession.

This honor recognizes his visible and lasting impact through his outstanding contributions to the growth of AHE, and for his unwavering commitment to the field of healthcare environmental and textile care services. He has elevated the Associations professionalism and dedication to its membership body. Roussos has been involved with the AHE organization since 1992 and has chaired several committees at the national level.
