Spectra254 Announces Agreement with MAGNET Group

Spectra254, a provider of UV-C light disinfection solutions, announces that it has reached a three-year agreement with one of largest and most experienced non-profit cooperative group purchasing and shared services organizations in the United States, the Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services. The agreement, which was effective on July 1, 2015, allows MAGNET Group’s thousands of participating healthcare facilities to begin purchasing Spectra254’s UV-C light disinfection solutions.

Spectra254 was selected by MAGNET Group due to its consistent commitment in developing scientifically proven UVC light disinfection solutions that are 99.9 percent effective in killing pathogens. Spectra254’s stability in the healthcare marketplace and dedication to providing a high level of customer satisfaction matches the GPO’s own mission to provide quality products and services to its members at a reasonable price.

“In our agreement with Spectra254, MAGNET Group partners with a company that expands our ability to solve important problems for our members,” says Steven R. Duke, vice president and chief operating officer for MAGNET Group. “Our customers include many different kinds of healthcare facilities with differing needs. Spectra254’s comprehensive portfolio of UVC light disinfection systems provides advanced solutions for every member class. ”
