For AHRMM members, the Supply Chain Academy is expected to help reset the bar for supply chain excellence and quality by providing a consistent, definable and repeatable learning process for health care organizations. This is a unique program that offers broad content and extensive depth to help build skills in supply chain and materials management. The Supply Chain Academys course content addresses all major supply chain business functions, such as inventory, distribution, purchasing, strategic planning and leadership, and supply and information systems.
There are a total of 134 Supply Chain Academy courses from which to choose. From those, AHRMM has identified 45 courses to support the development, delivery and management of a healthcare supply chain operation. All coursework completed applies toward Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit.
AHRMM also promotes the Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) credentialing program. This nationally recognized credential identifies leaders in the materials management field and indicates a broad perspective and extensive knowledge of healthcare supply chain issues.
