PHOENIX, AZ-Alliance Medical Corporation's Apopka, Fla sorting facility has passed a re-inspection by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The facility was cited in November 1999 for not complying with the FDA's Quality System Regulation (QSR). Rick Ferreira, Alliance CEO, said Alliance has invested considerably in regulatory compliance, facilities improvement, and training, making these a top priority since the company's venture capital financing late last year. Inspectors didn't find any deficiencies during the re-inspection and concluded that the facility now fully complies with the FDA's QSR.
