AORN Hires New Segment Manager for Healthcare Organizations

The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), announces today that Justin Raschke has joined the organization as segment manager for healthcare organizations.  In this newly created position, he will report to Fred Perner, vice president of segments, and work closely with the membership and industry segment managers.

Raschke will play the lead role in optimizing AORN partnerships with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and management groups, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) by marketing products and services that support patient safety in the operating room.

“AORN is structured to support our three key markets of membership, industry and healthcare organizations.  We’re excited to have Justin with us. His experience in healthcare management will enable us to strengthen the service we give our facility-based customers,” said Perner.

Raschke came to AORN from Medical Marketing Solutions where, as vice president, he was responsible for managing contracts in support of national healthcare partners including Community Health Systems, Surgical Care Affiliations, National Surgical Care and Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to Medical Marketing Solutions, he was with RadNet, Inc., and Spivack Vision Center. He earned a BS from the University of South Dakota and now lives in Denver.
