Georgia-Pacific Professional Receives Marketing Innovation Award for enMotion

Georgia-Pacific Professional and its enMotion® brand of touchless dispensers today received the Best Marketing Innovation of the Decade Award, presented by Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business and the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“We are honored to receive this award because it recognizes the fact that we have a great product brand in enMotion that has truly made an impact in the marketplace,” said Bill Sleeper, president of Georgia-Pacific Professional. “Through the growth we’ve experienced, we know that our customers and consumers recognize the benefits of our enMotion touchless dispensers – better public health and wellness, reduced waste, and enhanced image.”

The Robinson College of Business Department of Marketing and the Atlanta-based business publication annually recognize Georgia-based companies for marketing innovations by presenting the Marketing Award for Excellence – the MAX Awards. The enMotion dispenser first received a MAX Award in 2004, with special recognition of the positive effect that the dispenser had in improving public health and hygiene.

This is the first time the group has awarded a Best Marketing Innovation of the Decade Award. All former MAX Award winners were nominated, including a number of high-profile Georgia-based companies such as UPS, AirTran Airways, The Atlanta Falcons, American Honda Motor Co., and InterfaceFLOR Carpets. Winners were selected on product or service innovation, great marketing, and long-term success and impact within their industry. The winners were selected by the Georgia State University Marketing RoundTable, which is comprised of senior marketing executives from top Atlanta companies.

Since the enMotion touchless towel dispenser first received the MAX Award, Georgia-Pacific Professional has added to the enMotion family of dispensers, including the enMotion Recessed dispenser that has a more sleek design for high-end applications; the enMotion Impulse™ that provides a more compact design for break rooms and tighter spaces; the enMotion Water Resistant dispenser that allows for washdown and helps prevent cross-contamination in applications like food processing facilities; and the enMotion Soap dispenser that brings the reliability of enMotion touchless technology to soap and sanitizer dispensing.

The enMotion towel dispenser is also a member of Georgia-Pacific Professional’s Green by Design™ program – a designation that highlights products that contribute to source reduction and help customers attain LEED certification. As part of this designation, the dispenser helps facilities promote sustainable business practices that lead to cost-savings by reducing waste accumulation by up to 30 percent.
