Soule has broad experience practicing and teaching infection prevention and control in the United States and internationally and has published extensively in this area, serving as editor in chief of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC)s first Curriculum for Infection Control Practice. She is a member of the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC), which provides advice to the U.S. Office of the Surgeon General and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
