Kimberly-Clark Health Care created the HAI WATCHDOG Awards program to recognize the efforts of dedicated healthcare professionals helping to prevent HAIs in their healthcare facilities and to allow healthcare providers to share best practices for infection prevention. The deadline to submit a program is December 15, 2010.

Kimberly-Clark Health Care will award four programs with an educational grant, a commemorative plaque and healthcare industry and local community recognition through press releases and features on the HAI WATCHDOG website and in Kimberly-Clark Infection Watch e-newsletters.

Programs with measureable results will be judged by a panel of infection prevention healthcare professionals, while the education and awareness programs with non-measurable results will be judged by online public voting of fellow healthcare professionals through Dec. 31, 2010.

The deadline to participate in the Awards program through online entry is December 15, 2010 for programs conducted between Oct. 1, 2009 and Dec. 15, 2010.
