SGNA Offers Webinar on Reprocessing of Water Bottles Used During Endoscopy

The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, Inc. (SGNA) will host a webinar on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. CT to present information on the SGNA Statement on Reprocessing of Water Bottles Used During Endoscopy. This virtual event is part of SGNA’s ongoing focus to educate GI/endoscopy nursing professionals on the issues impacting today’s healthcare practice.

Webinar participants will gain a deeper understanding of SGNA’s Statement on Reprocessing of Water Bottles Used During Endoscopy from speaker Michelle Juan, MSN, RN, CGRN, SGNA’s Practice Committee co-chair, who will:
1. Define terms
2. Recognize the history of this document and water bottle reprocessing in general
3. Identify the steps to reprocessing water bottles
4. Identify appropriate water to be used
5. Answer questions from attendees
