Pure Processing LLC, developer of the PureStation™ Medical Device Pre-Cleaning System, has launched an accessory line designed to protect medical devices in sinks and on countertops during the pre-cleaning process. The Pure LandingPad™ Protective Sink Liners and Endoscope Protective Surface Liners help protect expensive laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, bariatric and other diagnostic and procedural scopes.
”We continue to seek ways to help our customers complete the pre-cleaning and cleaning processes as quickly, easily and safely as possible,” says Brent Reller, vice president of sales and marketing for Pure Processing. “These easy-to-use new pads and liners were developed specifically to keep a facility’s expensive endoscopic devices safe while the equipment is being manipulated during pre-cleaning.”
Pure LandingPad Protective Sink Liners are inserted into the bottom of stainless steel sinks used for cleaning. These lightweight ½-inch liners come in an 18 by 24-inch stock size, but other custom sizes are also available. They are made of MicroStop® material, an antimicrobial rubber compound that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi, and are cart-wash safe. The pad design also provides good drainage for easier pre-cleaning.
Pure LandingPad™ Endoscope Protective Surface Liners are intended for use on stainless steel countertops and other surfaces where endoscopes are staged for pre-cleaning. Their soft, ¾-inch thick PVC nitrile rubber foam blend protects the scopes during handling, and resists the hospital-grade chemicals used in this area. These surface liners won’t absorb liquids and are perforated to help remove liquids and debris from the work surface.
