Pure Processing LLC, developer of the PureStation™ Medical Device Pre-Cleaning System, announces the launch of PUREChannel Flush Instrument Channel Cleaner, a user-friendly, multi-enzyme and surfactant formulation designed to easily remove organic material inside the narrow channels of flexible and rigid endoscopes. PureChannel Flush cleaner is recommended for use in the PureStation system, in automated cleaning systems and sonic irrigators, and for manual pre-cleaning and cleaning processes.
”Simplicity and process control are built into the design of this product,” says Dan Gusanders, president of Pure Processing, LLC. “For example, other similar cleaning chemistries recommend multiple dilution rates that can create confusion, inconsistency and waste. In contrast, the PureChannel Flush formulation is designed to be used at one set dilution rate -- one-quarter ounce per gallon. This helps assure consistent effectiveness of the process. Even the product’s name and graphics are simple and descriptive, with illustrations designed to make training easy for outpatient surgical centers and reprocessing departments.”
When used as directed, the proprietary multi-enzyme PUREChannel Flush Instrument Channel Cleaner formulation is highly effective against blood, tissue and feces within narrow channels. Its pH neutral use dilution will not cause rust or damage instruments. In addition, regular use of this product can help reduce the need for prolonged intensive manual cleaning of contaminated device surfaces.
