Tyco Healthcare Receives $36 Million Dollar Traditional Wound Care Award from HealthTrust Purchasing Group

MANSFIELD, Mass. -- HealthTrust Purchasing Group has awarded the Kendall business unit of Tyco Healthcare Group LP a dual-source award for Traditional Wound Care products. The new contract, effective March 1st, 2003, extends for four years into 2007. The total value of this contract is estimated to be in excess of $36 million dollars. The HealthTrust award combined with similar contracts from Premier, Novation and Consorta has Tyco Healthcare firmly established as a leading provider of traditional wound care products in the hospital marketplace.
