Halyard Health Receives Premier Supplier Legacy Award for Operational Excellence

Halyard Health, formerly Kimberly-Clark Health Care, announces that it is a winner of the Supplier Legacy Award for operational excellence from Premier, Inc., a leading healthcare improvement alliance of approximately 3,400 U.S. hospitals and 110,000 other providers.

Halyard Health, a global medical technology company focused on preventing infection, eliminating pain and speeding recovery, was recognized for its long-standing support of Premier members through exceptional local customer service and engagement, value creation through clinical excellence and commitment to lower costs. The Supplier Legacy Award honors well-established contracted suppliers that provide exceptional service to Premier members by providing improved community health and reduced costs. The winners were selected by line-of-business member committees.

Janis Harvey, director of national accounts for Halyard Health, accepted the award at Premier’s 2015 Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in National Harbor, Md. on June 24.

“Halyard Health has been supporting Premier members for years offering valuable products and services that help to lower supply chain costs and improve operating efficiencies,” says Durral R. Gilbert, president of supply chain services at Premier. “They’ve also supported alliance members during periods of increased need at a local level.
