Legionella Training Program Offered May 9-10 in New York

Strong Memorial Hospital, Western New York Healthcare Association, Rochester Regional Healthcare Association and Genesee Valley Regional Association for Healthcare Engineers are hosting a two-day training program presented by EIC Consultants titled, Sensible Strategies for Legionella Control and Compliance in Building Water Systems and Sensible Strategies for Environmental Infection Control in Healthcare Facilities May 9-10, 2006 in Rochester, N.Y. 

The program is an excellent tool for training the entire healthcare team on means and methods to reduce waterborne and airborne hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and their related costs while improving patient safety and insuring compliance with regional and national guidelines and regulations. The program is designed for those involved in facility design, installation, renovation, operation and maintenance as well as those responsible for the impact airborne and waterborne pathogens have on patient and employee health and safety.
