Allegiance Outlines Program To Reduce Nurse Shortage

DALLAS, Tex-Allegiance Healthcare Corporation has designed a series of company initiatives to help healthcare providers (HCPs) fight the national nursing shortage.

Allegiance, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc., is working with healthcare professionals in a variety of ways to help them manage their facility's resources. Some of these programs include: consulting services to provide HCPs the right resources in the right place at the right time for the right cost; PackManager is an Internet-based service that helps medical facilities better manage their surgical-supply resources; and expansion of the ValueLink stockless inventory management program allowing HCPs to order supplies daily form a nearby Allegiance distribution center.
