Blood Infection May Have Contributed to Death of World's Tallest Woman

A blood infection may have been one of the culprits in the death of the world’s tallest woman, Sandy Allen, 53, of Shelbyville, Ind. Allen, who was 7-foot, 7-inches, had been recently hospitalized for a recurring blood infection, along with diabetes, breathing troubles and kidney failure, according to news reports.
