Hendrick Health System Selects UVDI's UV Surface Disinfection Technology

Article

Hendrick Medical System, a 522-bed medical center, womens center, rehabilitation hospital and cancer center that serves the Abilene region of Texas, has adopted UltraViolet Devices (UVDI)'s V-360+ UV Room Sanitizer based on its proven performance, ease of use and low total cost of ownership.

According to the KTXS report, HMC is the first hospital in West Central Texas to implement mobile ultraviolet technology to prevent the spread of germs. The report quoted Patti Bull, HMCs infection prevention coordinator, as stating, The addition of UV disinfection technology to sanitize surfaces is just one more way we can fight infection and provide our patients with the best possible environment of care.

Hendrick Medical Center adds UVDIs V-360+ UV Room Sanitizer as an integral part of their effort to provide optimum surface disinfection after the regular cleaning and disinfection protocol.

The V-360+ UV Room Sanitizer generates high intensity UV energy and quickly disinfects surfaces contaminated with viruses, bacteria and fungi, including superbugs such as MRSA and C. difficile, says Richard Hayes, president of UVDI.  HMC joins a growing number of hospitals and healthcare providers who have adopted the V-360+ UV Room Sanitizer based on proven superior disinfection performance that ultimately improves patient outcomes."
