IRiS 3200m UV-C Germ-Killing Robot Reaches Milestone in Durability and Reliability

Infection Prevention Technologies LLC and Clean Sweep Group Inc. (CSGI) announce a milestone in mobile UV-C disinfection robot technology as CSGI has performed more than 35,000 UV-C germicidal treatments using the Infection Prevention Technologies (IPT) IRiS™ 3200m UV-C intelligent disinfection robot.

IPT's intelligent robots employ "Smart-Dose™" technology using on-board UV sensors to automatically determine room and environmental characteristics in real-time, then automatically calculate the proper treatment run time with an assured UV dose.  There's no guesswork on the part of the operator in setting arbitrary treatment times or manually re-positioning of the UV system within a room.  Patented "Field Balancing™" technology maximizes the UV power output where it's most needed, resulting in a whole-room assured dosage, even shadowed and indirect surfaces like the backside of the faucet sink handsets. IPT's intelligent robots use UV-C energy, a time-tested germicidal wavelength that is particularly damaging to cells and proven to be the most highly effective.(1-6)  Cody Haag, Clean Sweep Group Inc.'s vice president of research and development, adds, "The IRiS™ robots are fast, but more importantly, they're very effective.  Our results show the pathogen kill rate is extremely high."
