ICT presents the second in a series of slide shows examining the basics of automated technologies that provide an adjunct solution to manual processes for the control, elimination and prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). This second slide show addresses automated hand hygiene monitoring technology. Future slide shows in the series will address other HAI prevention technology including automated room disinfection systems and automated instrument and asset tracking systems.
