STERIS Launches Site to Help with System 1 Transition

Article

In reaction to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s concerns over the STERIS SYSTEM 1 Liquid Chemical Sterilant Processing System, STERIS has launched a new Web site with a number of downloadable tools. These include the crucial “Certificate of Medical Necessity” (or CN) that customers must submit to continue receiving sterilant, accessories and parts throughout the 18-month transition period to a new product.

The new SYSTEM 1 Transition Web site can be found HERE.

STERIS has also created a SYSTEM 1E™ Liquid Chemical Sterilant Processing System Web site to launch a new product in the U.S. market. The site contains an overview of the system and a link to its indications for use. To access the site, click HERE.
