STERRAD Sterilization System Celebrates Milestone

Article

Officials at Johnson and Johnson, parent company of Advanced Sterilization Products, are celebrating the 5,000 installation of a STERRAD Sterilization System.

The system was installed at St. Vincent's Hospital and Health Services in Indianapolis.

The low-temperature system handles delicate instruments that are heat and moisture sensitive. Company officials report that the hydrogen peroxide and low-temperature gas plasma system is replacing other sterilization methods including ethylene oxide gas, steam and peracetic acid.
