Today, on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Safe Healthcare Blog, Acting U.S. Surgeon General Rear Adm. Boris D. Lushniak, MD, MPH, reinforces the need for antibiotic stewardship programs in every hospital nationwide.  His comments come as the CDC has released a report calling for improved prescribing practices in hospitals.
