AORN and 3M Announce the End of Public Submission Phase for Hand Hygiene Video Contest

3M and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) announce the conclusion of the video submission phase of the “It’s In Your Hands” YouTube™ video contest for perioperative professionals.

All entries will be reviewed by a committee of perioperative professionals which will choose three finalist videos that will advance to the AORN website for public voting starting on Feb. 9, 2010, at 8 a.m. EST. There are no restrictions on public voting and everyone is encouraged to visit http://www.aorn.org to vote on their favorite video. The ultimate winner of the “It’s In Your Hands” YouTube™ video contest will be the video that receives the most votes; there will be no restriction on the number of times someone can vote.  The winning video will be publicly announced at the AORN Annual Congress (March 13-18, 2010) and winner(s) will receive a $5,000 educational grant from 3M.
