CS Medical, LLC announces the successful installation of more than 170 TD-100 automated transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) probe disinfectors and TEE probe storage cabinets with a major North American hospital group. This single purchase and installation is the largest in the CS Medicals eight-year history.
"We are extremely pleased with the successful delivery and installation of the TD-100 and probe storage cabinet to one of North Americas leading hospital chains," says Steve McManus, CS Medical general manager. "We are honored they have entrusted CS Medical and the TD-100 to fulfill their TEE probe disinfection needs."
In developing the TD-100, CS Medical pioneered the automated disinfection process for TEE probes. The TD-100 established the first FDA-cleared TEE probe automated disinfection process with printed verification.
During the disinfection process, the TEE probe completes high level disinfection in five minutes, followed by five complete rinse cycles before disinfection confirmation is acknowledged and a report is printed. The TD-100 automated TEE probe disinfector eliminates manual reprocessing of delicate and expensive TEE ultrasound probes while providing a repeatable and validated disinfection process.
