Sealed Air’s Diversey Care Division announces that it has been awarded a group purchasing contract for Intermediate Level Disinfection Wipes from Premier, Inc., a leading healthcare improvement company uniting an alliance of 2,900 acute-care hospitals and nearly 100,000 other healthcare facilities. This award provides Premier members with access to Diversey Care’s Oxivir® Tb Wipes at specially-negotiated pricing and terms. These hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectant wipes, powered by AHP® technology, can disinfect against most common healthcare-associated pathogens, including multi-drug-resistant organisms, in just 60 seconds.
“We’re thrilled to be selected as a disinfectant wipes supplier for Premier’s network of members,” says Carolyn Cooke, vice president, Healthcare North America, Diversey Care. “Our Oxivir® wipes offer fast disinfection and superior cleaning ability while remaining gentle for staff, patients and surfaces.”
The Oxivir® wipes are available in a variety of sizes to meet the differing needs within a facility. The Oxivir® disinfectant family provides fast disinfection without irritating skin and eyes. With an HMIS rating of 0-0-0-0, Oxivir® Tb Wipes fall into the lowest hazard category, requiring no safety warnings or personal protective equipment, and its unique chemistry allows it to break down to oxygen and water after use.
“We strive to help healthcare organizations provide optimal patient care without compromising operational efficiency,” Cooke adds. “Frequent cleaning and disinfection of high touch surfaces with Oxivir® wipes can help Premier’s members reduce the spread of infection and create a safer environment for patients, visitors and staff.”
