Paint Formulated With Antimicrobial Protection

ANDOVER, Mass. - Officials at California Paints have released their latest product with hopes of helping fight nosocomial infections. Microban antimicrobial protection has been added to kitchen and bath acrylic, fres~coat low odor and low VOC interior paints. The additive inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew.

"We see this as an extremely important ingredient for consumers and the next step in the evolution of our high quality paints," says Ron Boyajian, product marketing manager of California Paints.
