Sempermed USA, Inc. Awarded Contract to Manufacture NOVAPLUS Exam Gloves

Sempermed USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of hand protection, announces it has been awarded an agreement as the sole source manufacturer for Novations NOVAPLUS® Exam Glove line.

Novation, one of the healthcare industry's leading supply contracting companies, stated that Sempermed was rated among the highest for acceptability by their Clinical and Supply Council and that was a key factor in the selection process.

Beginning Jan.  1, 2011, the NOVAPLUS contract with Sempermed will offer the members of VHA, University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista a complete line of quality nitrile, vinyl and latex examination gloves.

NOVAPLUS, Novations private label brand of pharmacy and medical-surgical products, delivers the best financial value for VHA, UHC and Provista members on the most frequently-purchased commodity products. Originally founded in 1985 as VHAPLUS, the private label currently includes more than 1,100 products with annual purchases of $1.6 billion.
