STOW, Ohio -- President and chief executive officer of Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp., Rick Schultz, announces the promotion of Alex Vrancich to the position of vice president. Prior to the appointment, Vrancich held the position of general manager. Vrancichs new position reports to the president, and will oversee many divisions within the company, including human resources, customer service, quality control, shipping and receiving, and the companys expanding repair division. Vrancich, an 11-year veteran of the company, will also work closely to oversee corporate marketing and will maintain an active public speaking schedule. Vrancich is a graduate of Ohio State University. Spectrum Surgical Instruments is a leading supplier of surgical instruments and surgical instrument repair services.
