B-to-B Magazine to Reach 20,000 Renal Professionals
PHOENIX -- Virgo Publishing will add Renal Business Today magazine to the Health & Nutrition Divisions offerings. Renal Business Today is written for practice-management professionals in the renal community and will offer readers thelatest business and technology trends in renal care, expert advice, strategic business solutions written by industry leaders, and human-interest articles.
We saw an unmet need in the community for a publication and online presence that focus primarily on business strategies, said Cindy Rash, publisher of Renal Business Today. Virgo has a strong, established presence in the medical field so this publication made perfect sense. With the immense resources Virgo has, we have a lot to offer readers and advertisers.
July/August will be the premier issue and two additional issues will be published in 2006: September/October and November/December. The publication will be monthly in 2007.Â
The Renal Business Today Web site, www.renalbusiness.com, will launch May 1 and will offer visitors exclusive resources including: daily news postings; blogs hosted by Renal Business Today's editor, Keith Chartier, and leading industry gurus; news, information and articles categorized into an easy-to-use editorial library; stock updates on big industry players; Web-only exclusives; immediate industry updates with RSS feeds; Pharma Corner with new drug updates and recent FDA announcements; E-newsletters and e-report specials; and many more features.
With more than 150 staff, Virgo Publishing produces more than 20 business-to-business magazines and 10 trade shows and conferences in a variety of industries from telecommunications and facility management to health and nutrition. The Health & Nutrition Division produces three publications and a conference in the medical industries: ICT: Infection Control Today, celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2006, is a BPA-audited publication that reaches 30,000 infection control and sterilization professionals; todays surgicenter, which is read by 20,000 executives in the ambulatory surgery industry, reached its five-year anniversary in 2006; EndoNurse, also celebrating its five-year anniversary in 2006, is written for nurses and technicians in the endoscopy field; and the todays surgicenter conference which offers exhibits, networking and two education tracks for ambulatory surgery center decision-makers.
