3M Health Care and Materials Management Microsystems Showcase Connectivity Between Attest Auto-reader and SPM® Software

Article

RENO, Nev. -- 3M Health Care and Materials Management Microsystems will demonstrate connectivity between Microsystem’s SPM® sterile processing information system and the 3M™ Attest™ Auto-reader at the International Association of Health Care Central Service Materials Management (IAHCSMM) annual meeting, currently taking place in Reno, Nev.  The demonstration can be seen in the Materials Management Microsystems’ Booth No. 85.

The interface between the two systems would provide hospitals more streamlined data collection, documentation and reporting capabilities because results from the Attest Auto-reader would download directly into Microsystem’s sterile processing information system.  The two companies are seeking customer feedback on the value this connectivity would have in managing the sterilization process.

3M Health Care and Materials Management Microsystems are currently exploring development and commercialization of this type of connectivity.
