With the theme, Outstanding People, Outstanding Results, National Healthcare Resource & Materials Management Week recognizes the integral role of materials management departments in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Our profession has grown in stature tremendously over the last twenty years. An efficient supply chain is the backbone of hospitals and a crucial lifeline to the entire healthcare system, noted Susan Kreiss, president of AHRMM. This years theme reflects the intelligence, savvy, and dedication of the professionals who keep our nations hospitals stocked and running.
