Phoenix, Ariz.-Alliance Medical Corporation named two new vice presidents today.
Don Selvey is taking over the newly created position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Selvey previously served as the director of the regulatory affairs and quality assurance department. Rick Ferreira, CEO of Alliance, said Selvey's work brought the company into the national spotlight.
"Under Don's leadership, Alliance recently became the only third-party reprocessor to pass an FDA follow-up inspection with no citations from the agency. Don has expanded our expertise dramatically, creating the industry's largest and most comprehensive in-house regulatory oversight program," Ferreira said.
Brian Berchtold, a new employee to Alliance Medical Corporation, has been named vice president of sales. He will be responsible for overseeing eight regional vice presidents and more than 150 sales and service representatives nationwide. Ferreira said the third-party reprocessing company is excited about their new market.
"Recent regulatory changes have fueled widespread interest among hospitals in our services. Brian's management skills and successful track record in developing and implementing high-growth sales organizations make him the perfect fit for Alliance," he said.
Alliance's customers include healthcare facilities, health systems, community healthcare providers and regional and national hospital group purchasing organizations. For more information:www.alliance-medical.com
