B. Braun to Showcase its Safety-Engineered IV Therapy Portfolio at AVA

B. Braun Medical Inc. will exhibit and host a Platinum Showcase presentation at the 27th annual scientific meeting of the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) to be held in Nashville, Tenn. Sept. 20-23. The presentation, "Navigating the Depths: Ultrasound Guided Short PIV Insertions -- Implications and Limitations for Practice," will feature a discussion of technology and procedures related to ultrasound guided peripheral IV insertion that highlights standardized approaches to patient assessment and techniques for vessel access.

Robert B. Dawson, DNP, MSA, RN, VA-BC, CRNI, CPUI,a vascular access consultant with PICC Academy, and Leianne Jinkins, RN, BSN, VA-BC, CPUI, a vascular access specialist with B.Braun, will be the featured presenters. The presentation will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel (Hermitage-E).
