Bard Nuti Award Presented at APIC Conference

COVINGTON, GA - At a recent conference for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), Judy Baker, BS, MT, (ASCP), CIC Infection Control Specialist for the Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., was presented with the Bard Urinary Tract Infection (UIT) Study Award.
Baker was recognized for her papers submitted to APIC on preventing Nosocomial Urinary Tract Infections (NUTIs) through research conducted on the use of silver-coated urinary catheters. For more information visit www.apic.org.
