Case Medical Offering Webinar on Cleaning and Decontamination

Case Medical is sponsoring a webinar, "Decontamination... It's More Than Cleaning," for SPD managers and directors, supervisors, lead techs, risk managers, infection preventionists and quality improvement personnel. The webinar will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET.  

The speaker is Nancy Chobin, RN, CSPDM, the corporate consultant and educator for the- Saint Barnabas Health Care System.  Chobin has been a leader in healthcare education and is an internationally known speaker and author of topics pertaining to sterile processing, materials management and the operating room.
 
The objectives of the webinar are: to describe the proper cleaning protocols, equipment and supplies; to discuss different technologies in cleaning equipment; to understand the difference between cleaning and decontamination; and to review the cleaning agents used.
 
The webinar will offer 1.5 credits of continuing education from IAHCSMM and the CBSPD
