Clearance for New Disinfectant/Sterilant

(CLIFTON, NJ) Cantel Medical Corp. has announced that its MediVators, Inc. subsidiary has been granted permission form the FDA to market Rapicide. Rapicide is a high-level disinfectant and sterilant with label claims for a 5 minute 35 degrees Celsius contact time to achieve the high level disinfection of flexible endoscopes in automated endoscope preprocessors. The company says that Rapicide has a reuse life of 28 days which will double the 14 day restriction currently placed on many other products. For more information visit www.cantelmedical.com.
