YOQNEAM, Isreal-Given Imaging Ltd., which made headlines recently with their new virtual colonoscopy equipment, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its ordinary shares.
The company wants to be listed on the Nasdaq National Market under the ticket symbol "GIVN."
The Given System is a proprietary wireless imaging system that represents a new method of virtual visual examination of the gastrointestinal tract. A miniaturized video camera contained in a capsule is ingested by the patient and delivers color images in a painless and noninvasive procedure.
