CHICAGO, IL-Global Healthcare Exchange, an online marketplace for healthcare providers, has added more partners. Originally founded by Johnson & Johnson, GE Medical Systems, Baxter International Inc., Abbott Laboratories, and Medtronic, Inc., the Exchange has since welcomed Boston Scientific, Guidant, Becton Dickinson (MD), and Tyco Healthcare Group LP to the venture. The Exchange will provide equal access to all healthcare manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, providers, group purchasing organizations, and other healthcare trading partners.
