Healthcare Companies Receive Medline Distribution Supplier Recognition Awards

Medline Industries, Inc. announces the winners of its 2012 Distribution Supplier Recognition Awards. These annual awards were given to 16 Medline supply partners who demonstrated outstanding performance in sales and operations and collaborated with Medline to provide exceptional value and service to the thousands of leading healthcare facilities who chose Medline for their medical and surgical supplies.

The following companies were honored at Medline's 2013 national sales meeting held this week in Chicago:

 Platinum Vendor of the Year:  Midmark Corporation was honored as the Platinum Vendor of the Year for demonstrating a strong commitment to sales and marketing, as well as operational and supply chain excellence.

 Operational Excellence Award:  12 companies 3M Healthcare, CR Bard Davol Division, Centurion Medical Products, ConMed, Dale Medical, Edwards Lifesciences, J.T. Posey, Kimberly Clark, Covidien Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions, Masimo Corporation, Precision Dynamics, Smith & Nephew were honored this year for excellence in operational support and supply chain performance.

 Sales Merit Award:  CareFusion and Georgia Pacific were both recognized for showing outstanding sales growth over the prior year while maintaining key economic initiatives.

 Rising Star:  Alpha Pro Tech, Inc. was recognized for achieving high level operational and sales growth excellence as a newer company in Medlines supplier partner portfolio.
