Healthcare Industry Distributors Association Offers Sales Training Curriculum

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Healthcare Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) announces availability of the Advance Sales Training Masters Curriculum. With six self-study modules shipping now, the Advance Masters Curriculum is the next step for those sales professionals who have obtained their Accredited in Medical Sales (AMS) certification, enabling sales professionals to continue their education and achieve sales excellence. Non-certified sales professionals also can take advantage of the masters curriculum, which provides in-depth coverage of the topics and issues that affect your business and your customers.

The Advance Masters Curriculum currently consists of the following study modules:

- Legal Issues in Healthcare Sales

- Negotiating Skills for Distributor Salespeople

- Physician Office Furniture and Lighting

- Rapid Diagnostics

- Using Reimbursement Knowledge to Make Sales

- Using Technology to Improve Sales Effectiveness

Students can continue study with other modules scheduled for release early this year, and additional modules will be added to the library on a regular basis. Topics scheduled for 2003 release include:

-Bone Density Measurement

-Cardiopulmonary Instruments and Equipment

-Leveraging Manufacturer Partnerships

-Selling Diagnostic Equipment for Exam and Procedure Rooms

-Safety Products

-Understanding Bloodborne Pathogens

-Understanding HIPAA

Each masters module is worth one credit toward the AMS continued education requirement. Each module is priced at $149.
