The International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) announces three new appointments to the 2015-2016 executive board.
Steve Adams, RN, BA, CRCST, nurse manager for sterile processing at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, was elected president-elect. Mark Duro, CRCST, FCS, CS manager for New England Baptist Hospital, and Tony Thurmond, CRCST, CHL, sterile processing and distribution manager for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, were appointed as representatives to the board.
The board positions officially took effect May 5, 2015, during the IAHCSMM Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
“We warmly welcome Steve as president-elect, and are pleased to have Mark and Tony as members of the executive board,” says IAHCSMM executive director Susan Adams. “Each brings to the executive board valuable experience and insight. We look forward to their contributions to IAHCSMM, the board, and the association’s collective membership.”
