Infection Control Tomorrow Announces Xenex as Event Title Sponsor

Phoenix, Ariz. - Informa Exhibitions announces it has reached an agreement with Xenex to serve as the title sponsor for its new Infection Control Tomorrow conference.

"We’re very excited about working with Xenex as the title sponsor of Infection Control Tomorrow," says Katherine Clements, vice president of the medical network of Informa Exhibitions. “It is through support of industry partners like Xenex that we will be able to offer scholarships to 300 infection prevention professionals to attend this important event at no cost.”

Infection Control Tomorrow will take place at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., April 29-30, 2015. Infection prevention professionals can apply for a scholarship in order to attend the event for free. Winners will have their air travel, hotel room and conference registration fees paid in full by the scholarship. The scholarship program is underwritten by sponsors of the Infection Control Tomorrow event.

The two-day event includes a full agenda of keynote presentations, networking opportunities, breakout sessions and awards program reception.

Additionally, Infection Control Today will introduce two new awards programs as part of the show, 30 Under 30 Awards and the ICT Hall of Fame Awards.

The 30 Under 30 Awards recognizes 30 individuals under the age of 30 who have made exceptional and innovative contributions to advancing the field of infection prevention. This awards program honors 30 new arrivals onto the infection prevention scene, recognizing their unique approach to crafting relevant programs for their hospitals and earning them a spot among this exclusive group of their peers.

The ICT Hall of Fame Awards recognizes veteran infection preventionists who are have made significant and lasting contributions to advancing the field of infection prevention. Awardees who considered to be the trailblazers who have made a name for themselves in the infection prevention and control community will be inducted into the prestigious ICT Hall of Fame. Their contributions have literally paved the way and shaped the day to day infection prevention strategies accepted by institutions across the country.

The application deadline to apply for the scholarship and the two awards programs is Monday, Dec. 15, 2014.
