Insights from IDWeek 2012, a special thematic digital issue produced by Infection Control Today magazine, features highlights from select symposia and oral abstracts presented at the inaugural IDWeek event, a joint meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS).
The meeting convened leading researchers and practitioners from around the world to showcase the latest developments in the field.
