The National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) is supporting the Institute of Medicine (IOM)’s public workshop on powered air-purifying respirators (PAPRs). This workshop will be held Aug. 7-8, 2014 at the Keck Center of the National Academies (500 Fifth Street, NW) in Washington, D.C. Remote participation is available.
NPPTL is exploring performance requirements for PAPRs for healthcare workers to determine how these requirements may impact future standards. All interested parties are encouraged to participate. Pre-registration is required. For registration information, CLICK HERE.
